Sifu Ricky Fong
Impressed by Master Bruce Lee, Sifu Ricky has long been enthusiastic about Kung Fu since his childhood. During his life at secondary school, he had been studying Hung Ga under Sifu So Siu Him for over five years. He was then taught by Sifu Chan Wai to practise Wing Chun during his study in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In 1992, he was admitted as a member of the Hong Kong Wushu Shanshou Team and trained by Instructor Vincent Lau. Later in 2001, he participated in a Shanshou Instructor Training Course held by Instructor Guan Jianmin. Meeting Sifu Ted Wong in 2001, he began his training in Jeet Kune Do (JKD) and was accepted as one of the apprentices of Sifu Ted Wong in 2006. It was not until 2011 that he completed the Muay Boran Technique Course as well as the Muay Ring Technique Course organized by the Hong Kong Boxing Association.
Devoting himself to Kung Fu, Sifu Ricky has become experienced and gained a variety of qualifications. In 2001, he was admitted as a Shanshou Instructor as well as a Judge of the Hong Kong Wushu Union. He was also recognized as a Ving Tsun Instructor under the Ving Tsun Athletic Association in 2006. He has become the Chairman and the certified JKD instructor of Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do (Hong Kong) since 2007, as well as the certified instructor of Ted Wong Jeet Kune Do since 2011.
